The tour of duty is one year. This is from September through August, however the books and reports only go through June.

Enlistment fees are not pro-rated for children. This is because the children still receive all the books. Children are encouraged to read all twelve books for the year by the end of June. We  strongly suggest that children submit their monthly book report to get the maximum value from the Book Club.

If a family joins with multiple children, only one family report is suggested. Parents can submit the report for their children.
